Terms and conditions for partners

Last updated: October 4, 2026 · RumbiX Aliados app (restaurants)

This is a translation for convenience. The Spanish version prevails.

In short: your restaurant sells its food on RumbiX and can request couriers for its own orders. The customer pays in the app; as soon as you accept an order, RumbiX records your payment (the food minus the agreed commission) and sends it to you. If you accept and don't fulfill the order, the customer gets everything back and a strike is recorded.

1. Who we are

RumbiX Venezuela is a technology platform operated by [RAZÓN SOCIAL EN TRÁMITE], tax ID [RIF EN TRÁMITE], [REGISTRO MERCANTIL EN TRÁMITE], domiciled at [DIRECCIÓN FISCAL EN TRÁMITE], Venezuela. Contact: [email protected].

Your restaurant (the "partner") sells its food through RumbiX and can request RumbiX couriers for its own deliveries. By accepting these terms in the app you accept them on behalf of your restaurant, together with the Privacy policy.

2. Your account

  • The account is created by the RumbiX team. There is a single account per restaurant, which you can use on several phones or tablets.
  • The first time, you change the temporary password for your own. Anything done with your account is considered done by your restaurant.
  • To avoid missing orders, keep RumbiX Aliados notifications on and turn off battery saving for the app.

3. What you publish

  • You upload and keep your restaurant's details up to date: name, logo, photos, address, opening hours, menu and prices. Everything must be true and yours (or you must have permission to use it).
  • You set your prices in dollars; the app also shows them in bolívars at the day's BCV rate.
  • Changes to the menu, prices, photos and hours are published automatically. RumbiX may remove something or suspend your restaurant if it is false, misleading, illegal or offensive.

4. Review and details that need approval

  • Your restaurant appears on RumbiX only after the team reviews and approves your details and documents (tax ID and the owner's ID card; the health permit is optional).
  • Once approved, the name, tax ID and bank details only change with a new approval.
  • The payout details must belong to the restaurant or its owner.

5. Orders from the RumbiX app

  • The customer pays the whole order in the app (food, delivery and tip) before it reaches you. RumbiX receives that payment on behalf of your restaurant.
  • The order rings until you accept or reject it. If you don't answer in time or reject it, the customer gets everything back and you are not paid for that order.
  • The customer can only cancel before you accept.
  • The courier picks up the order only with the pickup code shown in your app.

6. Commission and how RumbiX pays you

  • RumbiX charges the commission agreed with your restaurant, shown in the app. It applies only to the food: the delivery fee and the tip belong to the courier.
  • As soon as you accept an order, your payment is recorded: the food minus the commission (and minus what you owe, if anything). RumbiX sends it to your mobile payment or bank account, in bolívars at the rate the customer paid with, and you see it in the payments screen with its reference.
  • RumbiX does not hold a balance in your name or offer accounts, top-ups or transfers between users.

7. If you accept and can't fulfill the order

  • The customer gets everything back. If you were already paid for that order, it becomes an amount you owe; if not, that payment is canceled.
  • If the courier was already at your restaurant, their full delivery fee is also charged to your restaurant.
  • What you owe is deducted automatically from your next payments. If there are no more payments, RumbiX may collect it by other means.
  • A strike is recorded. With 3 strikes in 30 days your restaurant goes under review and receives no orders until the team reviews it.

8. The food and customers who are not there

  • Your restaurant is responsible for the food: that it is what was ordered, well prepared and packed, and that it meets health rules. If a dish contains common allergens, say so in its description.
  • If the customer doesn't show up, the courier takes the order back to your restaurant: that food is yours and nothing is deducted.
  • If RumbiX can't find a courier and cancels the order, the customer gets everything back and your restaurant is still paid its share.

9. Requesting a courier for your own orders

  • For orders you receive on your own you can request a courier. You charge your customer however you like; RumbiX charges them nothing and has no relationship with them.
  • The app shows you the delivery price (up to 8 km), which is honored for 60 minutes. You pay it by mobile payment with the last 6 digits of the reference; if part is missing, you pay it within 15 minutes or the delivery is canceled and what was received is refunded.
  • The courier picks up with the pickup code and delivers with a photo and location.
  • They wait free of charge for up to 10 minutes at your restaurant. If the order is still not ready after that, they may leave and the delivery fee is not refunded.
  • If you cancel before the courier arrives, the whole delivery fee is refunded; if you cancel after, it is not. If your customer is not there, the order comes back and the delivery fee is not refunded.

10. Your data and your customers' data

  • We keep the details of your restaurant and its owner to review it, pay you and comply with the law. Documents are private.
  • Only public details are shown: name, logo, photos, address, opening hours and menu.
  • Of app customers you only see their first name. When you request a courier you give us your customer's name, mobile number and address: we use them only for that delivery, and you confirm you have their permission.

11. Suspension and closing your account

  • RumbiX may suspend your restaurant if it breaches these terms, if there are serious complaints or if its details are not true. We will tell you why.
  • To stop being a partner, tap "Solicitar baja" (request to leave) in the app (not with orders or deliveries in progress). From then on you receive no orders. The team closes the account when what you owe is $0 and no payments are pending; we keep what the law requires.

12. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms, the app will show them to you again and you will have to accept them to keep using it. They are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
